The former Canadian Pacific Railway Corridor has been a hot topic lately around town.

The Town of High River is taking the public's opinion into consideration in deciding how to move forward developing the land. Breelyn Gray, Planner with the town, says things have been going well so far.

"We were out at the Farmers Market on July 6th, and we think between 80 and 100 people stopped to talk to us...so far we think the process is going very positive."

Gray says some suggestions thus far have included more parking, a historical interpretation walk, and creating more pedestrian and bicycle connections through the corridor.

You can provide your own suggestions by attending the next Concept Review at the High River Farmers Market on July 27th, or by filling out the online survey which will be available until July 16th.
