The Town of High River's had to do some work to clean up some mould at the Mundy Park Apartments in the Town's north east end.

Deputy Mayor, Jamie Kinghorn, says the fix is costing about $85,000, but won't come from taxpayers, but from the Mundy Park Apartment's reserve fund.

"We've had a couple of units there in one building that had a couple of issues. And we're going to get the other two buildings inspected to make sure they're in good shape, because of course we're renting these out and we have some responsibility to ensure they're safe environments."

Kinghorn says part of the issue lies in the buildings structure, others with education for tenants.

He says no one was ever in danger as the buildings are regularly inspected.
