There was some beautiful weather for Sunday's Terry Fox Run in High River.

Organizer Brenda McCredie says 59 people signed up to take part and they raised about $1,900 for cancer research.

The numbers are down a bit from last year when about 70 people walked, ran or made their way along the route in their own particular way, raising a record amount for High River of $2,800.

She says the youngest participant was approximately 3 years old and the oldest was in his 80's.

McCredie says one man was in town from San Fransisco and decided he'd take part in it as well.
