Despite the heat, High River residents are reminded to follow restrictions on water use.

The Town of High River has enacted Level 2 of Water Conservation.

This means residents are restricted to watering their lawns on the following days, between 5 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 11 p.m., in different areas of town:

Southwest: Monday and Thursday

Southeast: Tuesday and Friday

Northeast/Northwest: Wednesday and Saturday

Residents are still permitted to hand water trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetable gardens, and fill swimming pools and other recreational facilities at any time.
