A pair of arrests were made after Okotoks RCMP responded to complaints of suspicious persons attempting to break into homes in the Dewinton area on Tuesday.

It was determined the suspects were driving a vehicle that had been stolen out of High River.

Calgary Police Service located the vehicle and arrested the occupants who were then transported back to the Okotoks RCMP detachment where they were charged.

RCMP say Loriann Heavenfire, 35, has been charged with 21 Criminal Code offences including one count of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000.00, three counts of Break and Enter, nine counts of Theft of Mail, one count of Possession of Counterfeit Currency, two counts of Possession of Identity Documents, and two counts of Breach of Release Conditions.

Santana Keshane, 32, has been charged with 20 offences which includes one count of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000.00, three counts of Break and Enter, nine counts of Theft of Mail, one count of Possession of Counterfeit Currency, two counts of Possession of Identity Documents, and one count of Possession of a Weapon.

Heavenfire has been remanded in custody and will appear in court Oct. 2.

Keshane has been released from custody and will be in court Oct. 6.
