Engineering work should be done by the end of this week on what's called the, "Hockey Stick," alignment for the southwest berm in High River.

Tom Gillis brought council up to date at Monday's council meeting.

He says, an engineering report will go to council on the alignment soon and then downstream landowners will be contacted.

The Town changed direction earlier this summer when an agreement with the principal landowner couldn't be negotiated for the reverse "S" curve alignment further to the west.

A deal has still not been struck with the landowner for the new alignment.
