Building stats dropped a bit in Turner Valley in 2016.

Overall 50 new single family and multi-family residences were built, down a couple from 2015, but far below the 122 from 2014.

The value of those new homes are down as well to just over $6.2 million compared to $6.4 million in 2015 and $14.7 million in 2014.

Mayor Kelly Tuck says it's consistent.

"We did fall just slightly, but I'm very confident we'll see the same for 2017."

The value of commercial properties doubled to $320,000, but still far below 2014's record of just over $10-million.

Just two commercial, industrial or institutional projects were on the books in 2016 for the Town.
