Christmas may be a ways off yet, but the High River Santa Claus Parade Chairman Ted Dawson wants you to think about it now.

Dawson says, they're already looking to get people signed up, as the request for particpation in the annual parade fills fast every year.

"Really, when you look at the calendar we have over a 100 days until the parade and lights in the park. And so you can start kind of getting things organized."

Dawson says, they're already deep into planning the event and are looking to expand the, "Light Up," in George Lane Park as well.
