The holidays have a way of piling up households with extra cardboard, wrapping paper and and of course, a Christmas tree.

Luckily there is a convenient drop off location in High River, that's open seven days a week.

Items like gift boxes, cardboard and wrapping paper can be brought to the High River Recycling Centre, as long as it's clear of tape and tinsel.

If you've got an old tree that needs to go, it can be brought to the Yard Waste Drop-off Station.

You can find those facilities on 640 7 Street N.W. and they're open 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 pm Monday through Sunday.
