A local farmer is out a whole bunch of fence posts, while somewhere there's a vehicle with a bit of front end damage after an incident north of Cayley over the weekend.

High River RCMP were called out to the scene on Range Road 290, or 104th Street East around 10 Saturday morning.

There they found about 100 metres of fence posts snapped off, while witnesses told them a northbound vehicle hit the ditch taking out the posts, before roaring away.

High River Mounties are also looking for our help in figuring out who's responsible for four vehicle break-in's on Niblock Street, last Tuesday (July 12).

Police say while the vehicles didn't suffer any damages, the owners did find a lot of their belongings scattered about the street the next morning when they discovered the thefts.

They're asking anyone with information to call either them at (403)652-2357 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or online at www.tipsubmit.com.
