Okotoks RCMP have confirmed human remains have been discovered at a construction site near Northridge and Milligan Drives Monday morning.

They had said earlier this morning the area was being treated as a crime scene.

A search of the area is underway.

The public is being asked to stay away and give police time to complete the search of the area.
