Love it or hate it, there is still time to have your say on the legalization of cannabis.

Albertans have until July 31 to complete an online survey which will help the province decide how they should approach the legalization.

Kathleen Ganley, Minister of Justice and Solicitor General says feedback from Albertans is a crucial step.

"So far, more than 35,000 surveys have been filled out," said Ganley. "Input from Albertans will help our government make important decisions as we move forward."

The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete.

They are looking for input on things such as: Alberta’s cannabis goals, purchasing, using and legal age requirements for when the proposed federal government legislation comes into law.

In the fall, the Province is also hosting stakeholders roundtable meetings, sector-specific meetings and doing surveys at public venues across Alberta.
