The power is back on across High River after some power lines came down in an alley  just east of 1 Street east between 6 and 7 Avenues.

Fire crews were called out to the scene about 2 o'clock when a small grass fire was sparked by the power lines lying on the ground.

Alana Antonelli with FortisAlberta says a tree branch brought down the lines.

When it first happened the outage affected about 4,000 customers.

With-in about a half hour all but 82 were back on line and the rest had their power restored by about 4:30 p.m.
