The suspect wanted on multiple counts of truck theft, and fleeing from the police has been identified as 32 year old Darrin Bressellar from Lethbridge.

On January 14, RCMP from Taber, Picture Butte and Coaldale, along with a K-9 unit from Lethbridge acted on multiple tips from the public to locate Bressellar at a residential garage on the east side of Stafford Lake.

Bressellar will be be attending a hearing on January 17 at the Lethbridge Provincial Court, and is facing the following charges:

Criminal Code Offences:
 
1.) Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle;
2.)  Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000;
3.)  Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000;
4.)  Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000;
5.)  Flight from Police Officer;
6.)  Resist Arrest;
7.)  Break and Enter with intent to commit and indictable offence;
8.)  Mischief under $5000;
9.)  Fail to Comply with a recognizance;
10.) Fail to Comply with a recognizance;
 
Provincial Offences:
 
1.) Operate Motor Vehicle without Insurance;
2.) Display unauthorized licence plate;
3.) Drive while unauthorized.
 
The RCMP are thanking members of the public for their assistance in locating the suspect.
