The building at 100 Milligan Drive has received a face lift, just in time for it's newest tenant, Pharmasave to move in.

Right across from the rec-centre, you'll find a building that has housed many different businesses over the years like neighborhood pubs, convenience stores, and even fast food joints.

Amorea Designs has been working on re-vamping the building, to house it's new and hopefully long term tenant's.

Brent Ballish, Owner of Amorea Designs says, the bay where the Owl's Nest once resided will house Pharmasave, and another tenant.

"So it's been split into two separate bays. Now the one bay that's being developed out right away is going to Pharmasave, and the end bay is still up for determination at this point."

Ballish is a local Okotokian, and he lives close to the building.  He says he's invested in this project and he want's to see the building succeed, after seeing so much change over the years.

"I think was Foxy's, then it turned into the Owl's Nest and a long time ago it was a Dairy Queen so it's definitely been a transient tenant situation." Ballish says "Now with Pharmasave, I believe there will be sustainability there because there isn't many pharmacies over on that side of the river."

The idea for the end bay is to find a very unique eatery, with unique concepts.

While there is nothing booked for that spot yet, Ballish and the building owners are taking applications and looking for tenants with a good restaurant idea.

"Whichever eatery that goes in will be very carefully chosen.  It will need to have the right concept and a sense of sustainability, instead of the more transient businesses that have been in there in the past."

Ballish says he expects the inside reno work to be complete by the end of May.
