Construction for the twinning of Pason Centennial Arena is reaching new heights.

Crews are out putting up the structural beams for the expansion and should have this phase wrapped up by early March.

Over the next couple of weeks residents may experience additional construction noise while crews use air guns to tighten structural bolts.

The deep servicing work is over 90% complete and extra soil has been removed with most of the beams at grade level now in place.

The twinning is still on track for the facility to open early 2018.
