Okotoks RCMP responded to what they believe may be an arson at an abandoned house on Sunday.

Around 5 a.m. they were informed of a residential fire just northwest of Okotoks near 80th Street and Dunbow Road.

The Foothills and Turner Valley fire departments arrived on scene to find the house fully engulfed in flames.

Crews contained the fire with no damage to other buildings.

No one was occupying the building and no injuries were reported from the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
