Nanton town council is hoping for a bit more feedback from residents as they prepare for their strategic planning session for the end of February.

They are looking for feedback on development, parks and what Nanton should look like in the future.

Mayor Jennifer Handley says a recent community engagement session was good with 20 people coming out, to get more feedback she turned to social media.

"I had posted all of the questions to Facebook," said Handley. "Between private messages and public messages I had an additional 30 to 40 people respond."

Residents can still send feedback on subjects like development, parks and recreation, what green spaces should look like, and what Nanton should look like in the future through her Nanton Mayor Facebook page.

Council is also looking for general information.

"What people see, what are those ideas that people are coming up with at the dinner table and they just want to kind-of put out there for us to consider. Sometimes there are really quick fixes, little rays of light that we can jump on right away."
