A mother and daugher who were missing from Manitoba have been located.

RCMP in Manitoba thought a missing 18 old month girl and her mother might be in Alberta.

Police didn't say where they were located, other than they were safe and sound.

Seaira Neveah Hunter and her mother, 36 year old Rebecca Mikalosh were reported missing when they failed to show up  at a scheduled visitation with Seaira's father.

Police talked to Mikalosh a couple of times on the phone Wednesday, February 15, but she declined to meet with them, but did say she and her daughter were safe.

Police don't believe Seaira Neveah Hunter is in imminent danger, so they haven't issued an Amber Alert. Photo courtesy Manitoba RCMP.

Rebecca Mikalosh is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’6, 120 pounds with short brown hair.

Manitoba RCMP have issued a Canada wide warrant for Rebecca MIKALOSH for the abduction of a child under 14.

An Amber Alert has not been issued as there is no indication, based on information investigators have at this time, of imminent danger of bodily harm or death to the child.
