M.D. of Foothills Division two Councillor, Delilah Miller, is glad to see the United Conservative Party launch a rural crime task force.

She says the M.D. is 100 per cent behind the plan.

"It's an issue that a lot of us heard when we were out campaigning. And it's become way too prevalent in our municipality."

The UCP will send a three person panel around the Province to gather information on rural crime and present what they find to the government in hopes they'll act on it.

Miller says the issue's been ignored for far too long.
