The Millarville Musical Ride group has found a new home to help them get into shape for the upcoming season.

They were left without a practice arena after the Millarville arena collapse last month.

Coach Donna Buckland said it is a relief.

"We only have five more practices until we start performing," Buckland said.

The owner of a private riding arena is donating space for the group to get into tip-top-shape.

"It was so kind of her to offer her arena for us so we can finish our practices."

The donation was a gift otherwise they would be out a lot of money.

"There are good people in the world. We had a fundraiser and we were going to buy new gear."

When the group was faced with paying arena fees the money they had for new equipment would have been spent on that.

The musical ride groups first event for the year is at the Little Britches Parade in High River on May 19th.
