The folks at the Special Needs Association for Parents and Siblings, or SNAPS, have finished tallying up the proceeds from their Long Table Dinner in downtown High River.

Orvella Small says they were able to raise $8,000.

"I don't know that there's words to express how, how cool it was, maybe that's the word, it was just over the top I guess," she says. "SNAPS being on 4 Ave., we wanted to celebrate that and being the charity to take the lead on that it was just a fantastic opportunity to in one way say thanks back to High River and in another way to promote High River."

The event was a sell out with the table going almost from one end of 4 Avenue to the other.
