According to Stats Canada's 2016 census, almost everyone in the labour force in High River was working.

Numbers were released last week which show that of 6,970 people in the labour force 6,400 were employed.

That left 570 unemployed.

Of those that were working 945 said they were self-employed.

The vast majority, 5,135-hundred, got to and from work in a vehicle while 330 say they walked and 90 rode their bike.

Almost three thousand, 2,905 say they get to work in 15 minutes or less, while 950 say it takes 45 minutes or more.
