United Conservative Party Leader Jason Kenney spent the day in the Highwood Riding Tuesday, February 28.

He was back and forth between Okotoks and High River talking to local business leaders and politicians.

One of the issues to come up is the replacement of the Centre Street Bridge in High River.

Kenney says until he's elected he's not going to commit to replacing it.

"We're not going to come up with a platform with hundreds of different, specific infrastructure commitments. That wouldn't be responsible. But what we do want is for communities to tell us what are their top priorities and those are the first things that we'd fund."

He says a water pipeline from Calgary to Okotoks is another priority project that will have his attention.
