The Salvation Army Band will play Oh Canada at the High River Flyers home game against Mountainview tomorrow night and, will kick off their Christmas Kettle campaign too.

Lieutenant Kelly Fifield says they have a big target this year.

Lieutenant Kelly Fifield

"It's our only major fundraiser that we actually run during the year and all the money that's raised throughout the Kettle Campaign stays locally throughout the Foothills."

She says the money raised in the foothills stays in the foothills and adds the money goes to help run their emergency financial and the food bank programs.

"Our goal this year is a hundred thousand dollars and it is a heavy goal but we recognize there are a lot of people in need in our area."

She says they're looking for bell ringers still so if you're interested call 403-993-8975 or email foothillskettles@gmail.com
