The High River Chamber of Commerce highlighted two successful young business at their last lunch and learn meeting on May 17th before taking their summer break.

President Steven Muth says it was great to hear them talk about why they chose High River.

"That is a very important story to be told," said Muth. "Especially from the Chamber standpoint with Freshly Pressed and the High River Brewing Company choosing High River. They sought out High River and they chose to locate their business here because it fits for the business."

He says High River has a leg up for people who want a business with a few staff and they can achieve their goals.

"They want a business where they have a few staff. They can be successful and achieve their goals but still have that quote unquote small town feel. The storybook feel. You heard today, at the luncheon, where they say people say hi to me on the sidewalk, even if they don't know who I am."

He adds you cannot get that in Calgary, and you cannot get it in a lot of communities, but you can get it in High River.

"I feel that is one of the things that is putting High River on the map for many, many businesses. That is just the type of town and the type of community we are."

Muth adds High River is a great community to work in and raise your family in.
