We're still about three weeks away from the official start of Spring, but there's still a lot of Winter to go, and it's coming for us over the next few days.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for most of Southern Alberta Thursday, March 1st, which means March will be coming in like a lion this year.

We can expect anywhere from 10 to 20 centimetres of the white stuff over the next few days, so don't put the shovels away just yet.

It's also going to be a little cooler with high's ranging from -1 Thursday to -5 or lower until Tuesday, March 6 when the sun comes out and we'll get back to temperatures on the plus side.

As far as February goes, it's a good month to put into the rearview mirror as it was one of the colder February's on record and also gave us much more snow that we're used to.

But if it makes you feel better, and it won't, we usually get most of our snow for the year in March and April.
