Add one more item to the list of things to see and do in High River this weekend.

Sunday will be the final Handmade High River Market.

Angela Piovesana says they're taking it indoors this Sunday.

"Funds that we get from the Market we use to rent and pay for the commercial kitchens for the vendors to use who may not have access to one and so the Memorial Centre offered for us to use that space during the car show, knowing that we wouldn't be able to be on the sidewalk," she says.

The market usually spreads out the vendors around downtown to get people walking around the area to help drum up business for other stores as well.

"It has impacted Sunday business in a huge way so for the businesses that have been open it's not just the vendors who are reaping the rewards, it's the businesses as well," she says.

There's everything from Tarot card readings to people making homemade bread, soup or pies for sale during the event and Piovesana says they'll even have the tents set up indoors to give the Memorial Centre more of an outdoor market feel.
