Alberta RCMP won't have to worry about defending themselves in court over the "High River Gun Grab" during the 2013 flood.

A class action suit launched by a couple of plaintiffs, has been left by the wayside due to a lack of interest.

Calgary Lawyer Clint Docken says with just the two people involved and the high cost of an individual suit with likely a low payout, it's just not worth it.

The plaintiff's filed the suit looking for $5 million in damages following what they claimed was the illegal search and seizure of their guns during the flood.
