If you're planning on filling a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child this year, time is running out.

Organizer Jim Graham says they'll need them in before the end of the week.

"Saturday we are putting them in cartons and they should be shipped out Monday or Tuesday, so pretty much got to be there this week."

Graham says they'll be staying late to make sure all the boxes get in.

"We have volunteers at the High River Alliance Church who are there for you to drop your boxes off. And we'll be there a little longer on Thursday and Friday to get your boxes in, so it'd be great to see them. We think there about 900 boxes floating around out here somewhere, so we hope they're all full and back soon."

He says don't tape up the box, as it needs to be checked for security purposes.

Graham says your best bet is to just chuck a couple of rubber bands on it.

If you're looking to get one of the boxes, they have them in good supply at the Alliance Church.
