The Salvation Army Food Drive continues Thursday and through next week.

Lieutenant Kelly Fifield says no one should feel ashamed about asking for help if they need it.

"We encourage people, look at your situation, if you're really hurting, if you're really needing a little bit of help, a little bit of support, that's what we're here for," she says. "We're here for that year where you're really struggling and you know what, when you're in a better place you can then support us back."

Kevin Wallace from Sun Country 99.7 will be at the High River Sobey's Thursday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. accepting donations of food or toys.

Lieutenant Fifield says they start packing up the hampers next week.
