The High River Flyers annual Eli Gosselin Memorial Golf Tournament continues to give back to the community.

Flyer President Mike Bliss says they raised quite a bit for their operating budget and gave the Salvation Army a cheque for the Food Bank on June 8.

"We raised about 15 per cent of our operating budget," said Bliss "And 1500 for the food bank which is even better."

They have always raised money or donated items for the food bank at their tournament.

Bliss says the turnout was a little smaller this year but the results were good.

"We had a really good turnout. Not as many as previous years, but it was easier to control because it was a little bit smaller and it still ended up really good."
