It's going to be a long nerve wracking day for those who've put in so much effort for High River to be the next Hockeyville.

One of the organizers Amanda Pawlitzki says when the announcement is made during Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday, March 17, she's confident we'll hear High River's name.

"I really like our chances as well and that's why we're doing that big party, gathering for the announcement. Starts at 4 o'clock at Boston Pizza. It's for big and little's. And if you're a big over 18 maybe you can enjoy a green beverage to celebrate St. Patty's day as well."

The announcement will be made between 7 and 8 o'clock.

Getting into the top four guarantees $25,000 dollars for the rink at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.

If High River gets enough votes after getting into the top four, they'll be awarded $250,000 for upgrades.
