Film crews will be frequenting High River again on Monday, September 24, Wednesday, September 26 and Thursday, September 27, shooting several scenes in a variety of locations around town.

Partial traffic disruptions will start Monday on both 5th and 6th Avenues downtown, between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m.

Crews will then move to to 3 Street S.W. near Macleod Trail and 7 Avenue S.W., where a complete road closure will be required from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.

For the rest of Monday, scenes will be shot indoors, so no further traffic problems should arise.

On Wednesday, crews will be around the east end of 9 Avenue S.E., where intermittent traffic control will occur from 7:30 until 10:00 a.m.

There's going to be more traffic congestion and parking restrictions later in the day around 3rd Avenue S.W. between Macleod Trail and 1st Street S.W. from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

Crews will return indoors for the remainder of the day in the afternoon, so getting home after work shouldn't be a problem.

The week's filming wraps up on Thursday, where crews will be out of town for the most of the day in the M.D. of Foothills.

However around 7 p.m. they will be heading to the High River Rodeo Grounds, with potential brief traffic disruptions around the edge of town.

The Town asks residents to be mindful of crews and signage in the film areas next week.
