RCMP in Vulcan are investigating a fatal crash in the evening hours of Friday April 28 at the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 529, just north of Champion.
 
EMS paramedics found a two vehicle collision involving a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a small four door car.
 
The male (exact age unknown) driver of the SUV was determined deceased at the scene while a second man in his 20's, was transported via ground ambulance to the Vulcan Community Health Centre.

He sustained serious injuries but is considered stable and in non life-threatening condition.
