A fallen tree has forced the closure of a High River road.

Town crews have closed 1 Street S.W. between 7 and 8 Avenues.

ArbourCare has been called in to remove the tree.

Pedestrians and vehicle traffic will be kept clear until work can be done to remove the tree.

Once the area is secure, the road will re-open.
