The swimming pool at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex re-opens to the public Monday July 3, at 6 a.m.

Katie Crysdale, the Town's Aquatic Supervisor says it'll be busy throughout the next couple of months.

"We have four sessions of swimming lessons this summer in two week chunks since we've got programming the whole way through so if you're away for part of the summer you can join us for lessons later in the summer or if you're busy, you've got a lot of family commitments you can can just come by for public swim," Crysdale explains. "We've got some special events planned for later in the month, so a good old standby, right, for a rainy day or you don't know what to do with the kids, why not come down to the pool, get out of the heat, take a break, it's great for the whole family."

Crysdale says the first session of swimming lessons will start Monday and there'll also be lane swim, aqua-fit and open swim.

She says they were able to paint the inside of the pool area and all the walls, showers and change rooms have received a fresh coat of paint and there's a new ceiling and new fixtures which she hopes clients will notice when they come to the pool.
