Elections Alberta is trying to get as many of us registered to vote in the next provincial election as they can now.

Pamela Renwick with Elections Alberta says there's still a couple of weeks left to get yourself registered on-line or by phone.

"You can just go to elections.ab.ca and click through to make sure you're on the list. You can also call our call centre. So, they're operating seven days a week. And you can call them at 1-877-422-VOTE (8683). If neither of those options work for you, we'll also have enumerators coming around between Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 30."

She says if you manage to slip past all that, but still want to vote on election day, you can.

You'll just need to bring proper photo ID with you to prove residency, and you'll be handed a ballot.
