High River RCMP are saying a drive-by shooting Tuesday afternoon was not a random act.
Around 4:30 in the afternoon they received a call about a possible drive by shooting in the Highwood Heritage Estates area, west of the cemetery.
Police discovered a truck parked near a home and the home itself had bullet holes in it.
No one was injured however a number of people were in the home at the time.
The mounties say the investigation suggests that this was not a random act, and the community at large was not at risk.
Several leads are being investigated.
