High River Culture Days is set to go Friday September 30 to Sunday October 1 and with 13 venues there's something for everyone's taste.

Joyce Brown, Program Director of the High River Library says a special guest will be stopping by KC Jones Studio on Sunday.

"We have Culture Minister Ricardo Miranda coming stopping in High River at 9:30am."

She says Saturday they will have a full line up with Windmill Theatre doing a one act play starting at 10:30 A.M. as well as Mexican dancers at Noon.

"There's something for everyone," said Brown.

"We have 13 official venues plus there's a few more added in and around town."

Wales Theatre is also one of the venues participating as the annual Literacy for Life 'Grate Groan Up Spelling Bee' takes place starting at 12:30 P.M. with the Bee getting underway on stage at 2:00pm.

 Cowboy poetry is also happening this weekend at the Grace Gospel Church as the Trails End Gathering is on.
