The Canadian Taxpayers Federation continues to fight against the government over any plans to give a one-billion dollar bail-out to Quebec based Bombardier.

CTF Federal Director Aaron Wudrick says with previous bail-out's to Bombardier and the Ontario auto sector, Albertans' must be feeling like second class citizens considering the lack of action from the Feds over the crisis in the oil industry.

"You know there are folks in Eastern Canada that have this impression that digging stuff out the ground is some kind of backwards profession that doesn't require any skill. They have no idea the amount of engineering skill, or expertise that's required to actually do this. And they prefer things like building cars and planes. That's really all it comes down to and it's a really unfortunate stereotype."

Wudrick also points out an article from the Financial Post recently that quotes Bombardier Vice President Rob Dewar saying the company doesn't actually need the money for anything.

He says "It would be helpful, but is clearly not required."
