Cranbrook RCMP are searching for a former Foothills Composite High School Student.
They're investigating a report of a missing or overdue aircraft and have joined with the Joint-Search Co-Ordination Centre Victoria, confirming that a Kamloops man and woman were onboard.
Just before 6:30 p.m. on June 8, RCMP received a report that a small aircraft had left Cranbrook airport around 3 that afternoon and didn't arrive at it's Kamloops destination.
It was determined the plane had initially left Lethbridge around 9:30 that morning and stopped in Cranbrook to refuel where it had its last known point of contact.
The plane is a Piper aircraft with call letters CGDTK.
Former FCHS student 21-year-old Sidney Robillard, now residing in Lethbridge, was on the aircraft along with Alex Simmons, 21, from Kamloops.
