It's been a big success in the past but that hasn't stopped Foothills SNAPS from making changes to this year's Leather and Chaps Motorcycle Run.

Orvella Small with the Foothills Special Needs for Parents and Siblings says it's being moved to 4th Avenue in downtown High River.

"We're going to have a kids zone where there's going to be a bouncy castle and some other connectivities for families to do," she says. "We've added a Show and Shine this year too which is a different piece to the ride and we're going to have people who maybe aren't going to ride but they're going to bring down their motorcycles that they want to show."

Small says this year, rather than simply asking for an entry fee they're urging riders to get pledges. Each pledge worth $25 is eligible for a tax deduction. She hopes that while asking for the donation riders can tell donors more about what the organization does and build awareness in the community.

There will also be music throughout the day at the Stampede stage.

The run, which is their biggest fund raiser of the year goes July 23, 2016.
