There's a couple of changes at the Vulcan Tourism and Trek Station these days.

Vulcan's Community Services Manager Bonnie Ellis, says they're doing some restructuring.

"Our Tourism Coordinator has opted to leave Tourism right now to go back to his old position at the (Vulcan) arena. He's done a great job and we'll miss him. But we are certainly going to be moving forward and making strides on both "Vul-Con" and tourism in Vulcan."

In the meantime, Ellis, is running the show for the time being and assures fans "Vul-Con 2019" will be back bigger and better than ever.

"It is, we're very excited to continue seeing that going. I'm doing a little bit of the footwork, but as soon as we have somebody in place as a (Tourism) Coordinator, then we will certainly go full-bore on that."

She says for the time being they've closed up the Tourism and Trek Station, but will come down and open it up if you're looking for information or want to buy merchandise.
