The High River Chamber of Commerce is pretty excited to see a handful of new business opening shop in downtown High River these days.
Chamber President Steven Muth says it's impressive in a tough economy.
"It shows the resiliency of the small business owner. That's why you'd want to listen to them if you're a government. Is because they will always see opportunity. They will find ways to identify markets and be the eternal optimists."
Muth says it's also a smart move to set up shop now as these businesses will see more growth as the economy improves.
