It looks like crews will be on the Centre Street Bridge in High River to perform some testing on October 27-28, which means another bridge closure.

This time the closure has been scheduled overnight to prevent traffic disruptions.

The bridge will be inaccessible starting on October 27 at 10 p.m. and will re-open at October 28 at 6 a.m., to accommodate Monday morning traffic flow.

The closure is required for further testing on the newly installed flood gate and final installation of guide wheels and road plates.

Getting around the bridge can be done by taking the usual route on 498th Avenue via 5th Street or 20th Street North East.
