The High River Library is hosting some adorable adoptables at the High River Library on Monday, March 27.

They are having their second Cat Cafe, with cats looking for some loving attention, from Heaven Can Wait.

Director Mary Zazelenchuk of the High River Library says about 50 people came out to the last event.

"They bring a number of their cats and they are available to visit for adoption, or just if you don't have a pet at home and you really like cats," said Zazelenchuk.

There will be food and coffee available.

"It would be really nice if someone did find their forever cat there."

She added it is also a nice event for people who live in buildings where they can't have pets, or if you have someone in your home that is allergic.

The idea for the event came from Medicine Hat, when the library there hosted a Cat Cafe, the response was so overwhelming they had to pass out tickets.

"They had to limit their time they spent with the cats because so many people signed up to come."

Zazelenchuk says she would also like to have a cat, but it just doesn't fit into her life right now.

"I don't have a pet at home, I think about it sometimes but it is a lot of responsibility."

She did confess the idea of a Cat Cafe might be just as much for her, as it is for the community.

The cats will be at the library from 4:30 to 6 P.M.
