A full truckload of food and plenty of cash was brought in Thursday by High River and area residents as part of the Food Mountain Food Drive.

Lieutenant Chad Cole with the Salvation Army says, in all, residents stepped up to donate $864 cash and 1,050 pounds of food.

It all goes to help out, what is usually a slow time for donations, at the High River Food Bank.
