The UCP candidates in the Livingstone-Macleod riding wrapped up their last of six forums they've held over the last couple of weeks in High River Wednesday, December 5.

Okotoks Thomas Schneider says the campaign trail has kept him busy, but it's been very rewarding.

"It's been a wonderful journey. I've spoken to so many people at their door. I've door knocked on thousands of doors. And the people of Livingstone-Macleod are simply the best people. So let's make sure we have a fighter and a candidate who has energy, drive and passion representing them."

Nathan Neudorf says he's been from one end of this massive riding to the other.

"The people are incredibly friendly. They're willing to talk and discuss. They don't necessarily show their hand on who they're voting for. That's their right as a democracy. But it doesn't matter. They are still gathering together to see Alberta move forward and Livingstone-Macleod move forward. It's been a real pleasure."

Two days worth of voting starts Friday, December 7, and Claresholm's Roger Reid says he'll keep campaigning right up to the end.

"I'm on the phone and I've still got some more visits to do, before things wind up Saturday at 9 o'clock."

Reid, Neudorf and Schneider are the three candidates looking to represent the riding for the UCP heading into the next provincial election.

Two other candidates, Allen MacLennan and Justin Murphy have pulled out of the race.

A winner is expected be declared Saturday December 8, depending on how long it takes the votes to be counted.
