Plans are being put in place to have an all candidates forum for the Livingstone-Macleod riding in Nanton on April 3.

Nanton, High River and Claresholm Chambers of Commerce are collaborating to present an All-Candidates' Forum for the 2019 provincial election for Livingstone-Macleod at the Nanton community centre.

Nanton Chamber President Pam Woodall says they always try to put on a forum for every election and it just makes sense to have one in the north end of the riding for the three communities.

"With High River now being part of Livingstone-Macleod, instead of Highwood, that has made our area even larger. Meaning it is a long way for all those candidates to go if every single community is trying to put on a candidates forum."

"Amanda Zimmer from Claresholm and Steven Muth from High River Chambers are on board and helping with the organizing."

They are still working on the format however, they do have a moderator booked and three candidates are committed to being there.

"Cam Gardner, Roger Reid and Tim Meech are definitely in so NDP, UCP and the Alberta Party are interested and available."

She is waiting to hear from the Liberal Party and the Alberta Independent party to reply.
